Mendelian randomisation represents a novel methodology in the field of genetic epidemiology, leveraging observational data to infer causal relationships in epidemiological investigations. The course covers the foundational concepts, various methodologies, and the interpretation of results pertaining to Mendelian Randomisation analysis. Course Structure: The structure of this course is a blend of pre-recorded video content and live interactive sessions conducted via Zoom. These components will primarily focus on the theoretical aspects of Mendelian Randomisation analysis. To facilitate practical understanding and application of the concepts, students will be provided with exercises that allow them to conduct the analysis independently. Target Audience: This course is specifically designed for individuals who have a basic understanding of epidemiologic research and fundamental concepts of genetic epidemiology. Additionally, familiarity with R for statistical analysis is needed. This ensures that the participants can fully engage with and benefit from the course content. Neonatal Update 2024 – The Art and Science of Newborn CareDescriptionNeonatal Update 2024 is an in-person meeting held at BMA House in central London. The lectures will be recorded but the meeting will not be streamed live. For those unable to attend the meeting in person, recordings of the lectures can be purchased independently and will be available to view approximately two weeks after the meeting has taken place for 6 months. (N.B. All in-person delegate registration fees include a full set of recorded lectures from all 4 days of the meeting, making it advantageous to reap the benefits of attending at least one day in person and still receive the full set of recorded lectures).
