Written by William Nicholson and based on a true story, Shadowlands tells the remarkable and deeply emotional story of C.S. Lewis, the Oxford professor and author of The Chronicles of Narnia. When Lewis unexpectedly falls in love with the vibrant American writer Joy Davidman, his carefully ordered life is transformed. But just as he discovers the joy of love, he is faced with the pain of devastating loss.
Originally adapted from Nicholson’s BAFTA Award-winning television film, Shadowlands went on to become a major West End success, winning the Evening Standard Award for Best Play and later transferring to Broadway where it received a Tony Award.

Who can join the ISS trips?
The day trips are open to all current Imperial College students, including EU and UK students.
Unfortunately non-Imperial friends and family members are unable to attend.
How do I register and pay?
You will need a credit or debit card to pay for the trip. Once you have made payment, you will receive an email asking you to complete the emergency contact form. Joining instructions and tickets to the trip will only be released upon completion of the contact form.
What do I do if I need to cancel?
Tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Please be aware that as tickets for our trips are purchased in advance by the International Student Support team, we are unable to provide a refund of money if you can no longer attend. If you can no longer attend, you may find another Imperial Student to take your place. You will need to email us to let us know.
