Conflict and Blast Injury Conference 2026

Conflict and Blast Injury Conference 2026

Description

We look forward to welcoming you to the Conflict and Blast Injury Conference 2026, taking place on 29–30 June 2026 at the South Kensington Campus of Imperial College London.

This two-day international conference will bring together clinicians, researchers, engineers, humanitarian practitioners, policymakers, and industry partners working at the forefront of blast and conflict-related injury. The programme will feature keynote lectures, research presentations, and panel discussions delivered by leading experts from around the world.

The Conflict and Blast Injury Conference provides a global forum to explore advances in the pathophysiology, prevention, clinical management, rehabilitation, and long-term recovery of blast and conflict-related injuries. Sessions will span the full injury pathway, from acute care and surgical innovation to prosthetics, rehabilitation, mental health, data systems, and health system resilience.

Building on insights from previous editions, the conference emphasises the importance of integrated, patient-centred approaches that bridge clinical care, rehabilitation, technology, policy, and systems strengthening. Particular attention is given to the challenges of delivering high-quality care in conflict-affected, unstable, and resource-constrained settings, and to translating evidence into practice and policy.

The conference aims to foster collaboration, share emerging evidence, and support practical solutions that improve outcomes for individuals and communities affected by blast and conflict injuries.
