The Sargent Centre for Process Systems Engineering invites the industrial and academic community to attend the course “Process Analytics using Multivariate Methods”. This course is staged in two parts: the Fundamentals course (days 1 and 2) covers the theoretical background of multivariate latent variable methods (e.g. PCA/PLS) and the application of these techniques for basic process troubleshooting, monitoring and diagnosis and chemometrics. The Advanced applications section of the course (days 3 and 4) focuses on more complex analysis and usage of the tools such as batch process analysis, optimization, hybrid modeling and image analysis. The theory is complemented with numerous workshops from real scenarios and critical thinking exercises from real industrial case studies. The course is conducted using Python and open-source software that the attendee can continue to use after the course.

Cancellation

Full refunds (less 20% administration fee) will be given for cancellations that are received in writing on or before Monday 10 April 2023. Between Monday 10 and Sunday 30 April participants who cancel will receive refunds of 50% of the registration fee paid. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after Sunday 30 April 2023.
